During 2022 we have updated our vehicle charging points on the farm, to allow our guests to charge their cars from the power generated by our 1008 solar panels. In the main car park we have now have one 3.6kW standard 3-pin plug, one 7.2kW type 2 and four 22KW type 2 points.
In addition to these, the following cottages have their own parking space with a 7.2kW type 2 charge point: Nook, The Barn and Bluebell/Marsh (shared).
If you are staying here and have an electric car, the easiest option for EV charging is to download the VendElectric app, then all we need to do is invite you to our network via email and away you go. Alternatively, pop into Reception on arrival to pick up a fob and then settle up at the end of your stay. Whichever method suits you best, you won’t be able to charge until we’ve added you to our system via Reception.
We feel that it is important to do all we can to be energy efficient, so these charge points, along with our electric buggy and the rest of the site, are all powered by our own solar array.
