Padstow Christmas Festival

Padstow (20 minutes drive) is home to one of the best Christmas Festivals in the country and has beautiful Christmas lights in the harbour as well as lots of shopping opportunities.

Wadebridge (5 minutes drive) is our local market town and has plenty of original, independent shops selling unique gifts.

Lostwithiel (30 minutes drive) is one of the most vibrant communities in Cornwall. Famous for it’s antique shops there are also lots of small, independent stores too.

Having exhausted Lostwithiel you can either walk (via the Restormel Walking Trail – 40 minutes), or drive (6 minutes) to the beautiful Duchy Nursery.

For a day out further afield, St Ives (40 minutes drive) has lots of Christmas events planned, including a lantern parade and farmers markets. There is a great shop in the Tate St Ives as well as many small, unique stores around the town.

You could then drive over to Penzance (20 minutes from St Ives) and add a Christmas dip in Jubilee Pool‘s geothermal outdoor pool, as well as a walk through the town and along the promenade.
