Non-Availability of Property

In the event that a property becomes unavailable due to physical damage to the cottage, beyond the control of The Olde House, i.e. a burst water pipe or fire, we will try and offer alternative accommodation for the dates you have booked.

Supervision of Children

Whilst The Olde House is a very safe environment and we are happy for children to “free range”, there are a few exceptions:

Pets’ Corner, including feeding sessions – children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Holiday activities (pond dipping etc) – children must be accompanied by an adult.

Penpont Farm – STRICTLY no unaccompanied children. This is a working farm and there is dangerous equipment & machinery throughout the farm yard.

Injury/loss etc

The Olde House cannot be held responsible for any accident, damage, loss, injury, expense or inconvenience suffered by the hirer or any other person connected with the letting, or to personal belongings whilst in the property or the grounds of The Olde House.

Cancellations

We strongly advise that you have your own travel insurance in place before booking a holiday with us. If you are unable, for any reason, to take up the reservation, the whole rent is payable.

We will however, if possible, try and re-let your cottage if you are unable to come. If we are successful we will refund you the value of the re-let booking less an admin fee of £50. Please note that is not guaranteed and that if we were unable to relet the cottage the full rent is payable.

Guests

Outside guest are not allowed to use the facilities here on the farm unless agreed by The Olde House beforehand. I agree that if I invite guests to use The Olde House facilities, I/they will pay the necessary fees.

We operate a non-smoking policy in all cottages.
