Countryside trails, rugged coastal footpaths and multi-terrain walks: Cornwall has it all. Home to breathtaking scenery and thriving flora and fauna, North Cornwall is perfect for those who enjoy the great outdoors. Whatever time of year it is, there are few things more refreshing than getting your walking boots on and filling your lungs with fresh Cornish air.
Here at The Olde House, we offer family self-catering farm cottages in North Cornwall, all just a stone’s throw from the fishing villages of Padstow and Port Isaac.
Situated on a 550-acre working farm in the pretty village of Chapel Amble, our family cottages are surrounded by luscious countryside, perfect for family breaks. Sandy beaches like Polzeath, Rock and Daymer Bay are just a short drive away for the full Cornish coastal experience.
Our farm cottages are dog-friendly too, so four-legged friends are more than welcome to join in.
We offer free activities for all the family during school holidays, and we also have plenty of ideas for things to do in the area, so take a look around our site.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
Its proximity to the beautiful sandy beaches, the walking distance to a lovely old pub and its fantastic facilities were brilliant. The children loved helping Andrew feed the animals and swimming in the indoor pool.
