Looking after our environment is something that is very important to us, so we’re always on the look out for ways to reduce our carbon footprint.
In our latest step to providing greener holidays, we’ve installed a wood chip-fuelled biomass boiler which will heat some of our cottages and the swimming pool.
Last week, we connected our new 199 kW ETA boiler which will supply us with around 260,000 kW hours of heat a year. This is enough energy to heat the swimming pool and seven of our cottages. We’ve also laid a pipe close to a further seven cottages so we’ll be able to supply these with heat in the future.
The new boiler is a great addition to our solar panels and electric car charging points in providing eco-friendly energy.
