We’d like to say a huge thank you to all our lovely customers who have visited The Olde House this year.
The proceeds from our weekly school holiday BBQs totalled just under £4000 which we are donating to two very worthwhile organisations.
Wadebridge Cricket Club has a large junior section (including a few of the Hawkey family!) and is raising money for a new club house so we hope this donation will help them reach their goal.
We are also supporting the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation which funds Type 1 Diabetes research to improve lives and hopefully one day eradicate this condition for good. Our receptionist Sarah’s son Cameron was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 12 years old, and he is delighted that we are donating half of the funds raised to this excellent charity.
We will be supporting two more great causes in 2020 and will have more news about this in the New Year.
