Padstow Christmas Festival

Three weeks to go until Padstow Christmas Festival

From 3-6 December, nearby Padstow welcomes star chefs and visitors from across Cornwall and the UK for its annual festival, one of the biggest food events in Cornwall, with 45,000 visitors expected across the four days. It’s also free to attend. The main marquee hosts the traditional Christmas market where more than 100 arts, crafts, food and drink producers from across Cornwall and the south west will be showcasing their products. It’s a great spot for getting your Christmas gifts.
The packed programme of demos, masterclasses and forums extends across two stages – Sharp’s Chefs Theatre, and the Festival Kitchen, supported by GWR and St Austell Brewery.
See chef and TV presenter James Martin, Rick and Jack Stein, Angela Hartnett, Paul Ainsworth, Nathan Outlaw, Ashley Palmer Watts, Michael Caines and Mark Hix, to name just a few.
Other highlights of the weekend include a lantern parade, Santa’s arrival on a horse drawn Victorian bus, and a fireworks display on Friday evening. The Santa vs Rudolph Fun Run and Cycle on Saturday is raising money for Cornwall Hospice Care.
