Camel Trail

Following the Camel Estuary, The Camel Trail is a 17 mile long path which meanders through some of the most beautiful sites in North Cornwall.

It begins in Padstow and continues right through to the foot of Bodmin Moor, taking in Wadebridge along the way. Now a disused rail line, the trail is completely flat, making it perfect for a relaxing cycling trip for people of all ages. We are just a 5 minute drive from the centre of Wadebridge, so we recommend the stretch of trail between Wadebridge and Padstow. Bridge Bike Hire in Wadebridge has a range of cycles available at competitive prices.

The section of the trail between Wadebridge and Padstow is around 5.5 miles long and offers breaktaking views over the estuary. Reward yourself with a delicious lunch at the other end at one of Padstow’s many food offerings, before gently cycling back again.

The trail also makes a great route for those who would rather experience it on two feet rather than two wheels.
