The Olde House Surf Club
The Olde House Surf Club runs in partnership with Wavehunters surf academy every morning during school holidays and half-terms between 9:45am - 12:30pm and is open to children aged 6 and above (under 6's can still join in but must be accompanied by an adult).
The Surf Club is all about getting in the water and having fun. At the Surf Club your child will learn to surf safely with one of our fully qualified professional instructors whilst having fun and meeting other children in a friendly, safe and relaxed atmosphere. We also encourage the children to acknowledge the importance of their local beach environment and how to enjoy the sea safety and responsibly. The main emphasis is on learning and developing surfing skills but we will also do body surfing, lifesaving skills and beach and water games.
Kids will have the time of their life whilst the parent can have some time to themselves.

What it involves:
- Beach awareness
- Understanding the roles of Lifeguards
- Understanding the sea - wave formation - rips and tides
- Progression surf coaching with the use of all equipment
- Beach and surf safety with coaching in and out of the water
- Fitness and flexibility
- Beach and water games
