Accommodation
Lower Stable is a traditional single storey stone and slate building, which in bygone days was home for five heavy cart horses, now converted into a one-bedroomed double glazed cottage with a lawned area and seating. Lower Stable is also close to the Leisure Centre .
The cosy living area is open plan kitchen/diner/lounge with the settee converting into a double bed. There is a Freeview flatscreen television and DVD player.
The well equipped kitchen diner has an electric oven, hob, fridge, iron and ironing board. There is a dining table and four chairs.
The one double bedroom has a washbasin with shaver point, wardrobe and space for a put-u-up bed or cot. This cottage is ideal for a couple with small children. All bed linen is included, towels can be hired or you can bring your own.
Cot, high chair, stairgates and put-u-up can be provided free of charge on request.
The bathroom has a bath with shower over, WC and hand basin
Heating is by electric night storage heaters and electric convector heaters
Laundry room facilities available to our guests free of charge.
If you arrange grocery order please do not organise delivery earlier than your arrival time.
All cottages on site have free internet access.
During school holidays i.e. Easter Holiday, May Day Bank Holiday, Summer Holidays and October Half Term we usually only accept week long booking, on the stated changeover day, however if you are restricted to a specific holiday duration please phone the office and we can try and accommodate your request. Also the 3 weeks over Christmas we have a minimum of 5 night stays.
Out of these times any duration can be booked (min 2nights). If you would like your holiday to start within the next 48hr please phone the office as this is not available to book online.
