Accommodation
Higher Stable is a traditonal single storey stone and slate building, which in bygone days was home for five heavy cart horses, now converted into a one-bedroomed double glazed cottage. The cottage is only a few steps from our leisure centre and the farm walk.
The living area is open plan kitchen/diner/lounge with the settee converting into a double bed. There is a Freeview flatscreen television and DVD player.
The well-equipped kitchen/diner has an electric oven, hob, fridge, iron & ironing board. Dining table and chairs.
The one double bedroom has washbasin, shaver point and convector heater with space in the room for a put-u-up bed or cot.
This cottage is ideal for a couple with small children. All bedding is included, towels can be hired or bring your own. Cots, high chairs, stairgates and put-u-ups can be provided free of charge on request.
Heating is by electric night storage heaters and electric convector heaters.
The bathroom has bath with shower over, a WC and hand basin.
Laundry room facilities available to our guest free of charge.
All heating and electricity is included.
If you arrange grocery order please do not organise delivery earlier than your arrival time.
There is free internet access to all onsite cottages.
During school holidays i.e. Easter Holiday, May Day Bank Holiday, Summer Holidays and October Half Term we usually only accept week long booking, on the stated changeover day, however if you are restricted to a specific holiday duration please phone the office and we can try and accommodate your request. Also the 3 weeks over Christmas we have a minimum of 5 night stays.
Out of these times any duration can be booked (min 2nights). If you would like your holiday to start within the next 48hr please phone the office as this is not available to book online.
