Accommodation
A large stone and slate building being the original cow house and grain store is now converted into four cottages, one of which is Fern Cottage. Outside the cottage is a lawned area with bar-b-que and picnic benches.
The ground floor is open plan, incorporating a lounge and a well equipped kitchen/diner with an electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, iron & ironing board, dining table and chairs
In the comfortable lounge there is a three piece suite, also a Freeview flatscreen television and DVD player. Heating is by electric night storage heaters and electric convector heaters.
Upstairs there is a bathroom, wc and hand basin with shaver point. There is a shower over the bath.
There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with twins beds. Both rooms have hand basins and convector heaters with ample storage space for clothes. There is room in either bedroom for a cot or small put-u-up.
All bed linen is included in the price. Towels can be hired or you can bring your own. Cot, high chair, stairgates and put-u-up are available free of charge, on request.
All electricity and heating is included. All cottages onsite have free access to the Internet.
Laundry room facilities are available to our guests free of charge.
If you arrange a grocery order please do not organise delivery earlier than your arrival time.
During school holidays i.e. Easter Holiday, May Day Bank Holiday, Summer Holidays and October Half Term we usually only accept week long booking, on the stated changeover day, however if you are restricted to a specific holiday duration please phone the office and we can try and accommodate your request. Also the 3 weeks over Christmas we have a minimum of 5 night stays.
Out of these times any duration can be booked (min 2nights). If you would like your holiday to start within the next 48hr please phone the office as this is not available to book online.
