Straddling the River Camel this market town has one of the best medieval bridges in England.

There are lovely riverside walks with playgrounds for the children. All the major banks and a superb selection of shops and cafe's make Wadebridge a worthwhile town to visit.

There is plenty of parking and the centre of Wadebridge is traffic free so shopping is a delight.

Wadebridge is fast becoming the arts and crafts centre with several festivals during the year. Local artists display in various locations in the town.

In June the annual Royal Cornwall Show takes place at the Showground. Not to be missed - the best of the county.

Using the riverside walks from Wadebridge you arrive at Egloshayle Village one mile away.
Dominated by the lovely church of St. Petroc, the vicar, Rev. Lovibond, was responsible for the building of the 16 arch bridge at Wadebridge in the 15th century.

Tucked away at the heart of this picturesque village is the famous pub - the Earl of St. Vincent. Renowned for excellent food, in summer this pub is a picture with hundreds of prize winning flowering baskets. Crammed with beautiful timepieces it is a very popular local pub.
