Padstow is famous for the Padstow Mayday celebrations which is one of the oldest folk traditions in Britain. Come to Padstow on May Day and you will find the town throbbing to a pagan drumbeat as the 'Obby 'Oss is unleashed amongst the crowds of singing revellers celebrating the coming of summer.
You can visit the historic manor house of Prideaux Place whichi s at the top of Padstow town looking down over the harbour.
