Prideaux Place was recently featured on the BBC Antiques Roadshow. This beautiful Elizabethan mansion is sited on the hill above Padstow.
The grounds boast some of the finest views across its ancient Deer Park and the beautiful Camel Estuary. The historic garden is currently undergoing major restoration and planting.
Home of the Prideaux family since 1592 the house is filled with treasures from Royal pictures to Armada loot, and the oldest cast iron cannon in Britain. There is a Formal garden, 9th Century Celtic cross, Grotto and Terrace tea rooms. The house has been featured in several films and plays on television.
