DIRECTIONS TO THE OLDE HOUSE, CHAPEL AMBLE, WADEBRIDGE, CORNWALL. PL27 6EN

From Exeter, take the A30 via Okehampton and the Launceston by-pass. At Kennard's House
fork left, then take A395 towards Camelford; when it joins A39, fork left and follow the A39 through Camelford towards Wadebridge.

Look out for the brown tourist signs on all approaches to The Olde House.

About a mile after passing the St Kew Highway Filling Station, look for a sign pointing to the right for Chapel Amble. Take this right turn, and Ridgeway Park is immediately on your left hand side.

At the next T-junction turn right. (Wheel, Mill, Millstone, Barley, Oats and Granary cottages will be on your immediate left, with Penpont Mill situated on the opposite side of the road.

Please feel free to show yourselves in (If you prefer please drive on to The Olde House as directed.)

One mile further along on the left hand side is The Olde House, just before the small bridge at the beginning on the village. Call at Reception in the main farmhouse and we will provide you with directions and keys if required.

Alternatively, if you are coming from the Wadebridge direction on A39, turn left at the first Chapel Amble signpost.

(Wheel, Mill, Millstone, Barley, Oats and Granary cottages will be approx 1/2 mile further along this road on the right hand side with Penpont Mill on your left hand side.

Please feel free to show yourselves in, or if preferred drive on to The Olde House - this road leads directly into the village.

Greenbank is situated in the village on the right hand side of The Malsters Arms Public House.
Facing Greenbank, but on the opposite side of the road, is The Retreat.

Smeathers is a little further on. Go past the village PO and The Pottery. Take the St Minver road for approx 1 1/2 miles.

On a sharp left hand bend you will see a Public Footpath finger post on your right hand side together with a slate sign for Smeathers. The farmhouse is at the end of the driveway.

Please note that, in accordance with our Agreement with you, your tenancy of the cottage does not commence until 4.30pm on the day of arrival and it terminates at 10.00am on the day of your departure.

It really is important that this arrangement is adhered to so that our housekeepers can clean the cottages thoroughly and have any faults rectified. Please help us in this respect.
